Feature

★A philosophical picture book by bestseller-author Jörg Bernardy
★A seagull and its friends bring the lonely people of the city together again
★A modern fable with a happy ending

Description

Vagabundus, the seagull, loves the sea, fresh herring and
the fish market.
It’s his home after all. Together with his seagull friend Emma, fish vendor Katja and bottle collector Bodo he spends happy hours among the crowds on the market. But soon, the people withdraw themselves into their flats, don’t take care of each other or the city anymore. They get everything delivered at home and don’t use the market any more to shop or chat with each other. Trash lies in the roads and loneliness hovers above the city.
Vagabundus and Emma forge a plan: They call all their seagull friends and one day, hundreds of seagulls cause a huge plastic trash rain above the city which wakes people up and brings them back together, cleaning their city.
Life returns, also to their little neighbourhood, the fish market!
