Description

Emil is sitting on his bed and wonders what to do. Until there is a knock and a strange, tall figure snakes its way into his room. It introduces itself as the »long boredom«. Emil has the idea to play together, but the long boredom doesn‘t want to play. It won‘t read to him either and it can‘t even make up stories. What a boring creature!

So Emil invents an adventure story himself. The long boredom is not interested and would prefer Emil to stop. But he takes a liking to his own story and has more and more ideas of howit could continue. He has his stuffed crocodile and his doll fighting dragons, hunting for a treasure and he builds castle from boxes and pillows. When Emil has almost forgotten about his guest, the long boredom gets a thin voice and shrinks more and more. Until it decides it has to leave.
