Review

Among all the teachers at Changzhou Prefectural Middle School, the one who left an indelible mark on my life was Mr. Lv Simian, also known as Lü Chengzhi.
— Qian Mu, Chinese Historian

There is only one person in the natinon who is proficient in the entire history (Lv Simian).
——Gu Jiegang, Chinese historian

I often highly recommend Mr. Lv Simian Cheng, Mr. Chen Yuanyuan Yuan'an, Mr. Chen Yinke, and Mr. Qian Mubin as the four predecessors in the field of history, with broad perspectives, rich descriptions, and the ability to delve deeply into literature.
——Yan Gengwang, Chinese historian
