Description

"Blue Bird World Classic" Series
This series reinterprets the fairy tales written by literary giants such as the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, and Charles Perrault, with the painting styles of contemporary European illustrators. These illustrators, based on modern European style, faithfully reproduce the elements of trees, flowers, castles, and more from the original works, integrating the masters' imagined scenes perfectly into the "World Classic" series.

"The Wizard of Oz"
The little girl Dorothy and her small dog Toto, living on the Kansas prairie, are swept away by a tornado to a magical land called the Land of Oz. Here she encounters the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, and they all set off together for the Emerald City. After countless adventures, they finally meet the Wizard of Oz, the builder of the Emerald City. These friends who have shared many hardships hope to have their greatest wishes fulfilled with his help, only to discover that he is just a "fraud"! In order to find a way home, the little girl embarks on a new adventure...
