Description
In this childhood memories, we hear the voice of Juan Kruz Igarabide. In his remembrance, there is room forhumour, psychological portraits, anecdotes and historical reflections. Always with a prose that is as beautiful as it is fluid. However, one of the most outstanding achievements of this work is its ability to reach readers of different ages. On one hand, Children will enjoy the adventures and will recognise themselves in the everyday situations experienced by the main character, at school, at home or at the playing ground. On the other, their parents and teachers will find a portrait of a familiar world that tends to disappear and their grandparents will find an opportunity to remember things that seem to have been lost forever. In short, With an Eye in the Neck is a book that invites to be shared and commented on.
