“The Endless Winter”
The second book is set to be published in April 2024.
Description
Prince Loki, the protagonist, is like a flower in a greenhouse, having grown up in the palace. Due to limited experiences and a lack of communication with others, he appears quite immature. However, despite the winter still lingering in the kingdom, the king goes missing, and Prince Loki leaves the comfortable palace to embark on a challenging journey. Despite experiencing failures and setbacks, he continues to seek new paths as the sun rises.
The book showcases how the young Prince Loki overcomes the crisis facing the Droz Kingdom. As Loki establishes connections with different characters, he experiences new friendships on his journey. The story illustrates how the self-centered Prince Loki learns to interact with others and empathize, which is touching. Of course, this adventure doesn't mean Prince Loki undergoes a complete transformation into a new person. This is the first book in the series, laying the foundation for the next one, demonstrating Loki's process of addressing the kingdom’s issues and gradually growing. As an independent story, it also provides a sense of completeness.
This series falls within the enchanting realm of adventure fantasy, showing a myriad of characters, such as humans, animals, elves, witches, wizards, and stone beings.
Prince Loki: Nurtured within the palace since childhood, ignorant and immature.
River: A reckless but wise servant, always guiding the prince with sagacity.
Kun: A stone man, who interprets all actions as a manifestation of divine will.
Igni: A fire elf, transforming into an elderly figure in the absence of firewood, reverting to a childlike form once sated.
Vanya: A snotty and fashionable elf
