Description
Every way, until few years ago, seemed blocked. It was difficult, even impossible, for example, to access assisted insemination or child adoption. Some doctors, blind and unable to think about anything but the multiple sclerosis, told her to focus on the disease, on the urge to fight against “the evil”. So, with her positive energy and contagious enthusiasm, she looked for other ways of considering herself a mother. Through the artistic fulfilment, the love of who stand beside her, the precious and unique bond with Grisù, her
inseparable “hairy baby”.
Starting from a “still open wound”, from the necessity of coming to terms with grief, Antonella Ferrari decided to tell all her story without lacking irony and levity.
Mother anyway is the story of a denied dream, unfairly, to her and many women, but at the same time it is the story of a woman who is trying to learn living good without being a mother to a human being, who is trying to fallow alternative (and beautiful) paths to maternity, without surrendering, so to make her life full… despite all.
