Review

"Capità Lluc is a shared adventure, a lively children’s road movie. Two groups of kids ride towards the sea on some strange devices and take the reader with them with a thrilling rhythm and great complicity.”

Description

If there is something that is far away from Vila-remota de Dalt, that’s the sea. At least, that is what the busy people who live in this small town always say. And because of that, the children from this village have never managed to see the ocean.
But what if… that’s not really the case? What if the sea isn’t as inaccessible as they say? What if distance wasn’t measured by how far away you are but rather by how much you want to go there? Faced with this doubt, the children from Vila-remota de Dalt decide to take action. And the children from their neighbouring town, Vilaremota de Baix, too. With the support of some grandpas and grandmas, the two groups of kids from the different villages build two extraordinary vehicles to try to
reach Sant Cargol de Mar. The journey is bumpy, full of adventures… and really exciting!
