Author
Classic writer of Russian literature and also a reformer of the Russian literary language. In his short life, Pushkin achieved remarkable accomplishments, creating more than 700 poems, more than ten narrative poems (such as "Poltava" and "The Bronze Horseman"), the verse novel "Eugene Onegin," 15 prose works (the most famous of which are "The Captain's Daughter" and "The Tales of Belkin"), eight plays ("Boris Godunov" and "The Little Tragedies"), seven fairy tales, and historical and political works. Pushkin was hailed as a genius during his lifetime, but his talent did not exempt him from the persecution of the authorities, censors, and worldly envious people. Despite this, his works are still widely sung and have become treasures of Russian literature.
