Description
In addition to useful content for the viewer, the book is organized to offer a complete and accessible experience at all levels. It incorporates as a novelty a review of the recent history of astronomical drawing and exposes numerous practical advice necessary at the foot of the telescope. It offers in a structured way all the most used techniques, styles and materials to later describe the different types of astronomical drawings step by step.
Author
She is the author of the astronomical drawing blog Alma de La Noche and editor of Astronomy magazine since 2010, with various sections and collaborations. She has participated in various radio stations and is a member of the Discosmos Spain team.
She gives lectures, introductory courses in Astronomy and Astrophotography, astronomical drawing workshops and lunar observation for the general public, as well as for schools and teachers. Passionate about total solar eclipses, she has traveled to Hungary (1999), Turkey (2006) and China (2009). She also goes on astronomical voyages to visit observatories all over the world. She participates in numerous data collection events for scientific use at the La Hita Astronomical Observatory.
She is co-author of scientific articles. She was a professor at the I International Postgraduate Course in Scientific Image at the University of Alcalá (UAH). She is currently responsible for the training and dissemination area of the AstroHita Foundation, where she also actively participates in the development of instrument construction and maintenance of the astronomical observatory.
