Zhang Qingguo is a native of Kunming, Yunnan Province. He is a contemporary Chinese writer and the former chief editor of the literary magazine Dianchi. His works have won the "October Literary Award" and the "Best Narrative Award" of Fangcao magazine, and listed in the 2011 Chinese novellas.
