★Understanding calculus not only makes the study of mathematics easier, but also makes the study of subjects like physics much more efficient. This book uses a little ant to make the seemingly difficult study of calculus simple and interesting. It is suitable for all readers who want to learn calculus, whether they are students learning calculus for the first time, "mathematical strugglers" who have learned calculus but cannot apply it, or readers who want to organize the knowledge of calculus comprehensively, they will all benefit from its help and can be called the "strongest assistant" for learning calculus. In addition to daily learning, this book can also provide practical help for exam preparation. Open this book, and you will find ants everywhere. With the help of this little ant, the core concepts and principles of calculus in this book are presented in the simplest, most interesting, and most understandable way.

Description

The content of each chapter is organically connected, which is more conducive to the reader's comprehensive understanding; the conception and arrangement of the content maximize the fun of reading, stimulate the reader's interest in learning, and form a sharp contrast with dull textbooks, reference books with unclear content connections, and difficult exercise books.

Whether it is a student learning calculus for the first time, someone who has studied calculus but understands it vaguely, or a reader who hopes to organize the knowledge of calculus again from top to bottom, they can all gain a lot from this book. It will help all readers to understand calculus more thoroughly, understand mathematics, and help all readers to become more calm and confident in the study of mathematics and other subjects.

It is worth mentioning that this book is specially created for Korean middle school and high school students and is an entry-level calculus reference book. Therefore, for high school students who hope to learn about calculus in advance, this book is also a very good choice (it is necessary to learn about functions and irrational numbers in advance).

Author

Jang Ji-ung
Jang Ji-ung received his master's degree from Pusan National University Graduate School. Toward the end of his university studies, he re-recognized the significance of high school mathematics. This was because the core concepts of calculus, which he had learned in high school, were ubiquitous in his university major courses. This shift in perspective on high school mathematics was the backdrop that inspired the author to plan this book long ago.

"The Easiest Differential Calculus Lesson Told by an Ant" focuses on differentiation, often referred to as the crown jewel of high school mathematics. To explain the core concepts and principles of differentiation in the simplest way, the book employs a fictional 'calculus ant' to elucidate the concepts. The book's layout and presentation aim to maximize the enjoyment of learning, to digest about 70% of the differentiation that needs to be learned in high school, and to be approachable even for those who have given up on mathematics. The author hopes this book will provide practical assistance to readers, both in their school studies and exam preparation.

He is still interested in high school mathematics, so he continues to write articles on general mathematics for teenagers and general readers. He has always been pondering how students who have safely completed the third year of middle school can approach high school mathematics in a "stress-free," "self-directed," and "seeing the forest before the trees" way. Other works by him include 'Jang Ji-ung's Math Stroll,' which is a book that high school students can read comfortably in a few days, and hopefully, it can provide some help for college entrance exams as well.
