Description

Building is what humans do. From that magic moment when we reach out to find a Lego piece that we had thrown down from our crib to when we pick it up and put it together with another piece. Yes, we build. We build a life, love, families, houses, roads, cities, airports and space shuttles. We transform old places into new ones. Sometimes those changes are mundane. Sometimes they are astonishing. And the astonishing ones become stories.

Uncharted Territories is a trip through the stories behind those extraordinary places that are often missing in travel guides. These are both small accounts and formidable achievements. These are reports of success, of failures, of empty beaches and flying boats. Stories of cities enclosed in a building and of buildings that travel through time. Of concrete scars and cardboard castles. Stories of houses and families, and of love and roads.

Stories about life.
