Description
The "documenta" has made Kassel world-famous since 1955. Ideas that work beyond their time existed much earlier: the Brothers Grimm collected their fairy tales and legends here. They are part of UNESCO's World Heritage Heritage. The region boasts two other World Heritage sites: the Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park and the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. Rüdiger Edelmann, lives in Baunatal near Kassel. After many years of work as editor, moderator and deputy head of the radio programs hr3 and hr4, he now works as an author, among others for his multimedia travel magazine deutsches-reiseradio.com. He has known and loved the region around Kassel for over 15 years. He is chairman of the Association of German Travel Journalists.
