Author

Hwang Sunmi (F) is a writer beloved by many children due to her realistic and detailed psychological description and stories that comfort the heart. In 1997, she won the Tamna Literary Award in the children's story category by the Tamna Cultural Festival.Her most renowned title, The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly was translated and published in English by Penguin Random House, and it became the top best seller in multiple countries in Europe, including UK, with over 1 million copies sold.

Illustrator Ahn Kyoungmi (F) was selected as Illustrator of the Year in 2015 and 2018 at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
