Description
First of all, it's about the basics: what is species conservation? What are its framework conditions and goals, on which guidelines and laws does it build? The book explains the common concepts and describes all important legal and technical terms and their interpretation by authorities and courts. The central question is: How should species conservation be designed in order to achieve sustainable success for biodiversity in planning and nature conservation practice. In around 20 detailed practical examples, proven experts show how effective species protection can be achieved.
