Feature

Fifty years after his death, a graphic biography of the saint most controversial of the last century.

Description

Padre Pio has always been a controversial "character". Invisited also to the Church until a few decades ago, it is an emblematic figure in the last century, of the upheavals of believers and also of atheists. Fifty years after his death, the debate on this figure has not yet ceased. This graphic novel tries to investigate in the depths of a faith that has never faltered, even if full of doubts, mystery, "horror". With its stigmata well represents the decline of morality and goodness, which should be the heritage of all mankind. The twentieth century is also the period of two terrible world wars. Pio goes through this history with great difficulty. But his vision of God, man and the world was grandiose and farsighted. This graphic novel wants to bring even more of this saint in the midst of the people who loved him so much and had comfort from this holy man.
