Description

Benito Pérez Galdós is a novelist, journalist and politician born in Canada. He is considered to be one of the most representative realistic novels in the world in the 19th century. He is a narrator of Spanish literature, and he may be the greatest novelist after Miguel de Cervantes.
Galdós was a true humanist. He had devoted his life to the literature he loves, and he tried to use literature to solve people's problems. His compassionate and aggressive attitude was undoubtedly help establish his status as one of the most respected and beloved figures in Spanish society.

Author

Fernando G. Delgado

He graduated from information science and worked as a journalist in news, radio and television stations. He has worked with the newspapers "El Día", "Pueblo", "Informaciones" and "El País", specializing in literary criticism and culture. In 1976, he published his first novel "Tachero". In 1995, his work "The Naked Eyes" was adapted into a film directed by Vicente Aranda and won the Planeta Award. He also writes poetry and prose.

Fernando received the 1979 Pérez Galdós Award, the Juan March Foundation’s literary creation funding, the Europa Award, the Andaz National Television Award, the Mesonero Romanos News Award, the Valencian Community Honor Book Administrator title.
