Description

Towards the end of the second century of the new calendar, humans became cyborg and enjoyed exceptional longevity. We still live on Earth, but also in Martian colonies or on space stations which orbit around one or other of the planets of the solar system.

Ganymede, the largest moon of Jupiter, has become a cemetery of spacecraft where clandestine scrap metal workers nicknamed The Vultures live. Thomas Faucon is one of them. When a mysterious container crashes near his home, he believes he has hit the jackpot. Rather, he will open a Pandora's box. The cargo is precious and we seem ready to do anything to recover what it contains: an experience likely to alter the future of humanity.

Author

Nicholas faucher

Born in Quebec and currently living there, he holds a master's degree in molecular biology and an education certificate. He is a professor of biology at the university of Cegep Limoilou and has been interested in the question of evaluating learning for the past 15 years.

In 2010, he published a teaching manual on immunology. In the same year, he was awarded the Raymond gervais college and university award for his contribution to promoting and improving the quality of science and technology education in Quebec.

He spent his free time writing, inventing games, and reading, and was especially fond of fantasy, which nourished his creativity and enabled him to balance his universe, which would otherwise have been centered on rigor, science, and reason.
