Author
Loredana Simonetti is an Italian author and educator renowned for her contributions to children's literature. With a degree in Mathematics, she initially pursued a career in banking, working extensively with numbers and computers. However, her passion for writing remained ever-present, leading her to compose works in Roman dialect and create stories inspired by her two children.
Beyond writing, Simonetti is actively involved in promoting reading among children. She serves as a volunteer for "Nati per Leggere," encouraging parents to read aloud to children aged 0 to 6 in libraries, nurseries, and primary schools. Additionally, since 2020, she has been a volunteer reader for the National Center for the Blind's "Libro Parlato" service, providing free reading services to individuals with reading difficulties.
In 2022, she published "Il bambino imperfetto – da Collodi a Rodari, insieme a Pinocchio," a concise essay exploring the evolution of children's literature in Italy, focusing on the works of Carlo Collodi and Gianni Rodari.
Alessandra Goria (Illustrator)
Alessandra Goria is an Italian author and illustrator, recognized for her contributions to children's literature. She has collaborated with various publishers, producing works such as "Riccioli d'oro e i tre orsi" and "Cappuccetto Rosso."
Costantina Fiorini (Illustrator)
