About the Author:
Gemma Breathnach is an established television writer in Ireland, contributing scripts to drama series such as Seacht and Ros na Rún. She has always had a passion for books. Percy is her second foray into print.

About the Illustrator:
Tarsila is a children’s books illustrator based in Dublin.Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Tarsila Krüse is an Irish-based illustrator whose work is character-focused and influenced by everyday relationships with a whimsical and heartwarming touch.She's the founding member of The Blind Elephant Illustration Collective, a very proud member of Illustrators Ireland and her work has been exhibited in Dublin, Belfast and London.Her whimsical illustrations have been featured on a widevariety of projects including books, magazines, posters, merchandise, blogs and websites. Her début Picture Book Ná Gabh ar Scoil! (Don't go to school!) written by Máire Zepf has been published by Futa Fata.This title has been shortlisted for both the CBI Children’s Book of the Year Awards 2016 and the Gradam Réics Carló 2016 (Book of The Year for Young People in Irish).
