She was born in 1973 from an artistic family in Barcelona Province, Spain. Her parents were modernist painters and sculptors. Thus she was influenced by her parents’ art and had the opportunity to contact many famous works. Due to the influence of her parents and their works, she chose to attend the Barcelona School of Drawing for Girls and later the Llotja Art School in Barcelona.
She began her career in 1997 as an illustrator for many publishers and children’s books. She worked with publishing houses including Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press in the United Kingdom, etc.
At present, the publishing house she cooperates with most is La Galera in Spain, and more than 70 works have been published by this publishing house. Among them, the Series of “The Yellow Magic Van” series are the best seller of the year; the series of “My month” has sold up to 2 billion copies. And she is also the publisher’s best-selling artist.
In 2017, she was invited to participate in the Bologna International Children’s Book Fair as one of the representative painters of Spain. At present, she is not merely doing illustrations, but also designing posters and trademarks for many well-known companies.
