Review

"Most children's psychology books on the market are for parents. This series is the first self-help psychological reading that primary school students can understand on their own. The comic format grabs kids' attention, letting them learn to solve problems by themselves while reading." — Luo Zhenyu, founder of the Dedao App, host of "Luoji Siwei"

"The 'Primary School Comics' series has become a classic because of its unique design language. Using comics, it makes all ability development start from happiness—happy progress, happy growth!" — The Beijing News Book Review Weekly

"The main character A Cai is really great. He divides his pocket money into three parts... I learned to do the same, and now my piggy bank is getting heavier! The most interesting is the 'Supermarket Battle' story... I used this method and saved my mom 20 yuan last week." — Xiaohuasheng App reader (Onshaomiao)

Feature

★ First money lessons for ages 6–12. 35 comic stories show real money dilemmas kids face—blowing pocket money too fast, confusing "needs" and "wants," never getting the limited-edition blind box.
★ Part of the "Primary School Comics" series, which has printed 6.5 million copies since December 2019. This is the financial literacy set.
★ Expert team from Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, covering educational economics, finance, and psychology. Cai Mina holds a master's in finance from Beijing Normal University and is a PFP certified retirement planner with 11 years of cross-strait financial experience.
★ Readers report that after reading, kids divide their pocket money into three parts—one to save, one to buy needs, one to help others. Their piggy banks are getting heavier.
★ Not a preachy "don't waste money" book. It covers everything from "why money exists" to "what is virtual currency," from bank savings to prepaid card risks, woven into Dr. Cloud's comic advice.

Description

This is an original financial literacy series for primary school students aged 6–12. The set has 3 volumes: "Knowing Money," "Managing Money," and "Using Money Safely."

The books use comics to tell stories humorously, structured through "scene reproduction, psychological analysis, help and advice" sections. The original IP character "Dr. Cloud" offers methods and guidance for handling money problems.

The full set illustrates 35 money problems children may encounter in daily life: from "Why can Mom trade rice for vegetables?" to "Why are currencies different in each country?" from "My pocket money is gone again, I wish Mom would give me more" to "Is it really safe to put money in the bank?" from "The card isn't used up, but the amusement park closed" to "I never get the limited edition blind box, my luck is so bad."

"Knowing Money": Teaches children to correctly understand money, covering chapters like "Why does money exist?" and "Why does money change?"

"Managing Money": Teaches children to plan and manage money, including pocket money allocation and bank savings.

"Using Money Safely": Teaches children to resist temptation and use money safely, covering prepaid card risks and blind box consumption.

The set invites experts from East China Normal University and Beijing Normal University—PhDs in education and economics—to form an expert team, personally writing and reviewing the content.
