Maria Brasil
Maria Brasil is a global brand strategist and international speaker. A specialist in branding and brand management, she holds a master’s degree in Branding, Communication, and Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London, and has served as a professor at several universities in Brazil. She has also worked at the European University of Madrid, the European Institute of Design, and New York University.
As an international speaker and TEDx presenter, she has led more than 250 projects across nine countries, addressing thousands of professionals, while collaborating with brands such as Unilever, Dengo, Bridgestone, Sicredi, and CASE New Holland.
She previously served as president of the National Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (CONAJE), becoming its first female leader. She is also a member of the Brazilian Committee for Women Entrepreneurs and Culture, as well as the Ethics Committee of the Brazilian Institute for Conscious Capitalism.
Passionate about building brands with soul, Maria Brasil is the founder of “Brand Essence,” a brand‑strategy firm that integrates strategy, culture, and research to uncover each brand’s core identity and translate it into growth and results.
She is the author of works such as “The Defendant’s Speech,” which explores topics like brand building and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) practices.
