Description

“We will do the serious stuff tomorrow!” is a children’s graphic novel series illustrated by Juice. It portrays
elementary school children such as Tosoon, Bangji, Ongsim, Candy, and Matyong, through cute
and lovable characters in familiar settings like convenience stores, libraries, schools, and movie theaters.
Instead of serious and heavy stories, it blends the daily lives and experiences of children with
humor and wit. It is not a long story with a big and complicated narrative, but a collection of short cartoons
that show the rise, climax, and resolution in 12 pages each, offering their own fun and pleasure in
each episode while organically linking episodes to each other to show a delightful and friendly world.
In the world of “We will do the serious stuff tomorrow!”, the characters do not find each other’s different
appearances strange or pay attention to them. It is natural that ’I’ and ’You’ are different. The existence
of Ongsimi, who is disabled, is the same. The friends do not say things like “Ongsimi rides a wheelchair
because she has a disability.” because the wheelchair is a part of her body. In this world, not respecting
diversity is actually the unusual thing. In this way, the author subtly and seamlessly conveys the essential
concept of diversity to young readers through cute and naturally anthropomorphized characters.

"We hope that Tosoon's free spirit, Ongsimi's bravery, Candy's humor, Bangji's inquisitiveness, and Matyong's generosity take root within you, too! Of course, the journey doesn't have to be serious. Yahoo!"

"Downtown Mix Jjujju depicts the city lives of cute and quirky friends. The creator has collaborated with famous brands such as Kakao Friends, Benefit, and YouTube, and has provided illustrations for various children's educational magazines.
The graphic novel We Will Do the Serious Stuff Tomorrow! was also serialized in the children's magazine The Whale Said That (Gorae-ga Geuraesseo). With its unique charm and cuteness, it received much love from readers.
The author's other works include the comics God-saeng Tomorrow (Living My Best Life Tomorrow) and From Bed to Chair, and the coloring book Home Sweet Home. They also illustrated My Friend Encyclopedia."
