★ The exhaustion of single parenting, the inner turmoil of being unable to marry, the disorientation of feeling trapped with no way out. A diner that opens only before dawn lights up for every lonely soul returning home after dark.
★ An enchanting little eatery by the sea in Shizuoka, where the owner can see right through your worries and serves up just the dish that understands you best—dedicated to everyone who keeps going quietly in the darkness.

Description

On a stretch of coastline in Shizuoka Prefecture, there stands a magical diner that opens only between midnight and dawn. Its owner, Ms. Saemi, is just as extraordinary: she can see straight into the hearts of every nocturnal patron, sensing their deepest worries and serving up dishes perfectly tailored to ease their burdens. Whether it’s the loneliness of single parenthood, the hesitation about taking the plunge into marriage, or standing at a desperate crossroads in life—“Dawn Diner” rises to meet the needs of those who wrestle with their struggles alone under the cover of night. This book collects four poignant stories that nourish the soul, each accompanied by its corresponding recipe.
