A lovely story about bonds and the true meaning of life.
Description
But the news isn’t all good: the doctor says she only has one week left to live. Determined to make every moment
count, Alicia and her mother Olivia set out to give her the time of her life with a series of wild and increasingly
outrageous plans which of course had to involve a few lies and lots of acting to totally convince her granny.
Packed with absurd situations, tender moments, and a cascade of misunderstandings, this novel is a joyful, madcap
ride through time, memory, and second chances. All of it seen through Alicia’s eyes—an imaginative girl who compares
every twist of the journey to Alice in Wonderland.
