* “Dungeon” refers to a parallel dimension or alternate space independent of the main world. Each dungeon typically has its own rule system, world-building, and survival challenges. Characters must enter these spaces to complete tasks, solve puzzles, or survive for a set amount of time before they can return to the real world. Think of it as a "parallel world theme park/nightmare theater that you're forced into—and you must follow specific rules to make it out alive."

Description

Yin Xiu has lived in Rules Town for six years.
Normal players come in, follow the rules to clear dungeons, and scramble to survive. Only Yin Xiu stays in town day after day, never leaving, never entering dungeons, never touching the monsters. He fishes and lies in the sun, basically starting his retirement early.
The town's monsters have been eyeing him for six years, gnashing their teeth every single day. They've been working so hard on their kill count, but they've never once gotten him. They watch him loaf around right under their noses, but against someone who's memorized the rules inside and out, they're completely helpless.
A few days later, a heavy rain hits the town, and a new batch of arrivals shows up. One mysterious man gets assigned to share Yin Xiu's room as his housemate, and on his very first night, he accomplishes what the town monsters couldn't in six years—he drags Yin Xiu into a dungeon.
That night, the town monsters throw a party: "Hell yeah! We finally got rid of that retiree who's been slacking off!!!"
At the same time, the dungeon monsters start wailing: "Who dragged the guy who slaughtered our dungeons six years ago back in?! We worked so hard back then to kick him out!!!"
Yin Xiu enters the dungeon completely unenthusiastic, looks around with his blade in hand: Same old stuff, no new ideas. Let's speedrun this and get back to retirement.
The dungeon monsters breathe a collective sigh of relief, just about ready to pop the champagne early, when a line of twisted, blood-red text suddenly appears before Yin Xiu: "Do I look new to you?"
A clammy, bone-deep chill instantly descends upon the entire dungeon. Monsters and players alike start to panic.
"It" has emerged.
