Team X became famous at school after discovering the secret laboratory of a businessman named Platonov—but this fame also sparked jealousy from senior girls Tanya, Lera, and Olya. The girls began playing increasingly cruel pranks on Kira, escalating from minor teasing to full-blown bullying. When Kira is falsely accused of breaking a window and faces expulsion, the situation turns dire.
Meanwhile, while investigating a separate incident, Team X discovers something unusual hidden inside an old wardrobe in the teachers’ lounge. The team splits up: some members work to gather evidence that proves Kira’s innocence, while others investigate the secrets concealed within the wardrobe. With time running out, they must collaborate efficiently, using their detective skills to uncover the truth, clear Kira’s name, and reveal what the wardrobe has been hiding all along.

Chair of the Russian Association of Children’s and Young Adult Writers and a member of the Board of the Russian Writers’ Union, Svetlana has authored and published more than 10 books, as well as numerous fairy tales and short stories. She was awarded the Grand Prize of the 2018 “Open Eurasia” International Competition and the 2018 “For the Benefit of the World” Literary Prize. She is also a member of the Contemporary Prose Masters’ Club “Literary House” and the London Eurasian Creative Association.
