Feature

"My brain has too many tabs open!"

★ Is your child simply "mischievous" or does he/she have a medical condition? Through visual breakdowns, this book transforms complex medical knowledge into "instantly understandable" charts (such as token reward tables and emotional management flowcharts) that parents can immediately put into practice.

★ How to help children with ADHD? This book provides comprehensive coverage of the entire process from "cognition → diagnosis → treatment → intervention → life support," addressing all key aspects of ADHD from understanding to action.

★ How can we better understand and help? Balancing professional knowledge with accessible language, the book presents perspectives from both experts and parents. Authoritative specialists explain concepts in easy-to-understand ways and provide various assessment scales and case studies.

★ Authored jointly by Dr. Sun Jin, Director of the ADHD Specialty at Dalian Children's Hospital, and Professor Liu Dalin, ensuring the content meets clinical diagnostic standards.

★ Enhanced comprehension through visuals: The full-color illustrated format in both volumes transforms abstract theories into actionable step-by-step diagrams (including token reward tables and emotional management flowcharts) that parents can easily follow.

Description

Is your child impulsive and defiant?
• Frequently forgets teacher instructions when doing homework, rushing through tasks regardless of accuracy
• Blurts out answers in class before questions are complete, often giving wrong responses
• Drinks soup without checking whether it's hot or cold
• Enjoys carving on desks with knives and disturbing others' belongings
• Refuses to follow game rules, acting impatiently and doing whatever they please

Understanding the "why" behind your child's behavior is more effective than a thousand reminders.

This is a comprehensive guide for parents of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), focusing on the complete process of "identification - intervention - treatment." From recognizing problems to family-based interventions and professional support, it helps parents move beyond ineffective nagging. Using empathetic and scientific approaches, it guides children toward better behavior and provides professional, practical solutions for managing ADHD-related challenges. An essential toolkit for parents of children with ADHD.
