Description

"You will never be happy" — Lucia hears this from Baba Aka, the local witch doctor. Neither herbs, talismans, nor later hospital treatments can remove the red birthmark on her face. Thus Lucia grows up branded as inferior, strange, mocked, and pointed at.

Yet she is strong. And loved. She has a little brother and parents who support her. When evil crosses her path again, will she know how to stand against it?

A novel about finding oneself and the true beauty within us.
