Description

Today, Tim doesn’t feel like going to school. This boy, who is usually full of curiosity, has suddenly lost his interest in learning. To find out why, Tim’s scientist father uses a magical brain viewer to send his son into the inner world of his own mind!
There, Tim meets Neo, a lively neuron; Leia, a gentle glial cell; and Norland Ryusha, a mischievous little crocodile. With the help of their clever guide, Amphissa, Tim and his friends explore different parts of the brain—such as the cerebral cortex, the hippocampus, and the amygdala—witnessing firsthand how memories are stored, emotions are generated, and what exactly happens in the brain when we learn. During this thrilling adventure, Tim not only helps Neo discover his purpose but also rekindles his passion for knowledge. It turns out that every single cell in our brain is quietly working hard to help us grow!
This book is carefully crafted by a creative team consisting of two scientists, a writer, and an illustrator. Its content is easy to understand, packed with information, vividly illustrated, and both educational and entertaining. It makes an excellent gift for parents and children alike. One of the co-authors, Vyacheslav Dubinin, is a professor at Moscow State University and one of the leading experts in the field of brain science.
