Description

Rituals are what the living need.
When facing life and death, no matter how much we experience, we can never be fully prepared.
Helping fragile life after fragile life, this sense of mission and control redeemed me.
It was so tiny, like a plastic bag stuffed inside a paper bag, drifting lightly in the wind.

This non-fiction illustrated story collection comprises 12 stories.
The protagonists are in different stages of life and face different troubles, but they share one thing in common: they have all formed a bond with one or more cats and have experienced the ultimate farewell of death.
Life and death are unavoidable topics for everyone. For the protagonists in these stories, it was their cats who initiated their life education. Without forced happy endings or deliberately exaggerated pain, the authors simply face life head-on and allow themselves to grieve. This act of acknowledging and permitting grief inherently contains a powerful healing energy.
