Feature

★ This book is written for every modern person who “dare not relax.” It tells us that having the “freedom to disconnect” and learning to “press the reset button” are the most important self-preservation skills in this era.
★ The author, Tomoya Fujino, is a unique psychiatrist. Living and working with a heart disability, his personal experience of “coexisting with an impairment” gives his advice a vitality that transcends theory.
★ With 130,000 followers on SNS, he understands well the state of contemporary people being entangled by the anxiety of “having to respond.” The rest methods provided in the book are truly tailored for this “always-online” era.
★ It precisely addresses the global “burnout” and self-exhaustion phenomena, teaching us how to moderately let go of the obsession with “having to do well” without breaking down.
★ The book does not advocate simple “lying flat,” but rather a “positive rest method” elucidated from a psychiatric perspective, aiming to repair the deep-seated mental fatigue that sleep alone cannot alleviate.

Description

Do you always feel tense, thinking that you “have to do well” and “have to work hard”?
Psychiatrist Tomoya Fujino senses in his daily practice that many people are pushing themselves to the brink of exhaustion, both physically and mentally. This book is a “rest lesson” dedicated to you.
In this era where we are constantly pressured by SNS, workplaces, families, and more to “stay connected” and “respond,” having the “freedom to disconnect,” escaping the “role of being at a disadvantage,” pressing the “reset button,” and learning to ask others for help— these small ways of resting have become important skills to protect our mind and body.
The book further explains in detail from a psychiatric perspective how sleep quality directly relates to physical and mental recovery and the importance of understanding the “correct way to rest.” It will help you alleviate the “deep-seated mental fatigue” that cannot be cured by simply lying down and guide you towards true recovery.
You don't have to wait until you get sick to stop working hard. By slowing down and relaxing, your life will quietly change.
Let go moderately, and move from the increasingly exhausting daily routine to a fulfilling and satisfying every day. This is not only a book about rethinking work methods but also about re-examining “how to rest.”
