Author

Nate Sharock
Dr. Nate Sharock is a neuroscientist, author, and professor from Florida. He conducts brain activity scans and brain-based therapies for patients with a wide range of mental and neurological disorders. In addition, he teaches courses in the Department of Psychology at Florida Atlantic University. He recently founded Gamma Neuroscience, a consulting firm that provides services to neuropsychology clinics and research institutions. He is currently investigating the efficacy of deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (Deep TMS) and intravenous ketamine in treating various mental health conditions. He also aims to determine how these therapies affect resting-state brain function and individuals’ self-perceptions of their life goals.
He has published research papers on mindfulness meditation, cognitive enhancement strategies, and the use of brain activity measurements to screen for various neuropsychological disorders. His book, “Pursuing Your Goals,” is another notable contribution to his body of work.
Beyond communicating with clients or working in the lab, Dr. Sharock is an avid tennis enthusiast. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
