ELIAS GEORGOULAS holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Crete. His research focuses on issues of psychology and pedagogy in ancient Greek philosophy, on which he has published extensively in scientific journals. He has taught for the Department of Philosophy and Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Department of Philosophy at the University of Patras, among others. His book entitled Aristotle, Parva Naturalia [in Modern Greek: Nissos publications, Athens, 2014] won the 2015 State Literary Translation Award for Best Interpretation of Ancient Greek Literature.

TOMEK GIOVANIS is an illustrator and comic book creator. Born in Poland, he graduated from the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the School of Applied Arts and Culture at the University of West Attica, specialising in animation. He is the creator of the comic book series “Koulouri” (Jemma Press). He has participated in exhibitions in Greece and abroad and has received awards from the Greek Visual Communication Design Awards, the Comicdom Awards, as well as various international competitions. He has illustrated the award-winning “The marriage of Kontopitharos” by Sofia Nema, “Gourgouris” by Tasoula Eptakili and the book series “Princess Athina” by Stella Kasdagli for Patakis Publishers. In 2022, he opened his own space, Tomek Space, where he works, creates, and teaches comic art classes for children and young adults.
