Description
Why have the vast majority of studies on the Crusades, particularly those conducted in the West, consistently attempted to place faith at the forefront? Why do Western historians especially favor this narrative? Could this choice be related to an effort to conceal certain truths? Or is it simply an accurate reflection of reality?
On the other hand, why do the effects of the Crusades continue to this day, and why are they still used as an argument in contemporary discourse? More importantly, is there a connection between the wars currently raging in the Middle East—and the resulting chaos that claims numerous lives daily—and the Crusades, which many assume are buried deep in the dust of history? Furthermore, what is the relationship between the Turkish conquest of Anatolia and these military campaigns?
This book you hold in your hands offers answers to these and many other questions concerning the Crusades.
