Description

After reading this book, don’t rush to pick up a pickaxe and shovel to start renovating your own house. It’s a bit complicated! In this book, you’ll see how a house is built from scratch. However, building a house involves more than just the tasks introduced here.

It is difficult and requires patience, carefulness, planning, rules, wisdom, and ethics.

What are those large construction machines we encounter on our way to school, the park, or during walks used for? How are houses built? Who is involved in constructing the buildings we live in? This is the story of our home!

Now you can start turning the pages, but don’t forget to wear your hard hat and work boots. Safety first!

“Ready-mixed concrete is transported from the factory to the construction site via large mixer trucks. Workers pour it over the interwoven steel reinforcement grids, fully encasing the steel framework. During pouring, care is taken to remove all air bubbles.”

“They use a tool called a ‘trowel’ to smooth the plaster on the walls.”

“When digging the foundation, various sounds can be heard.
Some are rumble-rumble-rumble!
Some are clank-clank-clank!
And others are crackle-crackle-thump-thump-thump!”

“The excavator digs out the foundation and loads the soil onto trucks.”
“Trucks filled with soil transport it to designated municipal sites.”

“When laying the foundation, various sounds can be heard too.
A little ding-ding-ding!
Some clatter-clank-clash!
And a few pat-pat-pat!”
