Author

Corey Rosen
Corey Rosen is a multi-award-winning producer and creative director, as well as a best-selling author, actor, visual effects producer, and storytelling coach.
He has hosted over 200 live events for The Moth StorySLAM and GrandSLAM, and won the Bay Area StorySLAM championship in 2012. He has been a guest on The Moth Radio Hour and is a regular contributor and live host for Alice Radio's top-rated morning show in the San Francisco Bay Area, "Sarah and Vinny."
He served as the chief writer for Lucasfilm and the Executive Vice President of Creative Development at Tippett Studio, a world-leading CG effects company. He has written scripts for movies, theme park rides, and attractions around the world. In addition to his writing, Corey works as a visual effects artist, creative director, and executive producer. He has been involved in the production of dozens of films, including several Star Wars movies, Disney's A Christmas Carol, and Mission: Impossible.
Corey is also a company member of BATS Improv, one of the world's top improv theaters. He began his career writing for Comedy Central and Jim Henson Productions, and has taught applied improvisation, storytelling, and stand-up comedy writing. He has also directed TV commercials and Emmy Award-winning short films.
He has taught at the MFA Animation program at New York and San Francisco Art Institutes and for The Writing Pad magazine.
