Description
The author confronts taboo subjects—infertility, artificial insemination, miscarriage—with unflinching honesty. Central to the narrative is the woman: her societal roles, and above all, her body laid bare under scrutiny, alongside waves of loneliness, emptiness, and guilt. Yet amid the story’s chilling darkness and silence, light, nature, and art persistently break through, easing life’s burdens.
When Intimacy Shatters
“Reproductive Clinic” (Klinika za reprodukcijo)—the name alone evokes unease, even fear, on their first visit. What follows are invasive tests, surgeries, ovarian monitoring, blood analyses, and a diagnosis: idiopathic infertility, unexplained and absolute.
