Description

Columbum's Scrambled Eggs is a book for lovers of long journeys, those who do not hesitate to go into the unknown with only a backpack and a tent, and those who travel mainly with their finger on the map.

The book's protagonist is Kuba, the same one who, in the book Jagiełło, received history lessons from his grandfather in the shower. This time, the boy and his family, and with him the readers, will get to know the most outstanding explorers in history, starting from the ancient Phoenicians and Greeks, and ending with contemporary Polish travelers.

They will set off with them to the frosty Ultima Thule, fertile Vinland, the mysterious El Dorado, and the unexplored Terra Australis Incognita. They will see that behind the great geographical discoveries stood not only curiosity about the world, but also the desire for profit, politics... and chance, and among the travelers there was no shortage of ordinary adventurers.

Expeditions to the ends of the world experienced together with Leif Eriksson, Benedict the Pole, Christopher Columbus, James Cook and Roald Amundsen will make geography lessons no longer boring.
