Jack Beard has loved children’s books his entire life. His earliest memory is sitting around a campfire with his parents, reading together. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has a wide range of outdoor hobbies, including skiing, hiking, kayaking, spending long days on the beach, and telling stories to friends by the campfire.

Jari Gómez is a children’s book illustrator from the Dominican Republic. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work in art, and she found her dream job in the field of illustrated books. As an illustrator, Jari has published numerous works with various brands and publishers. Recently, she also made her debut as an author.
A master of multitasking, she enjoys singing or watching videos while creating her artwork. Jari loves to watch horror shows and movies during work. Despite her love for all things spooky, her illustrations are charming and vibrant, a quality she brings into her everyday life as well. Jari is a huge Harry Potter fan and collects Funko Pop figures.
