Description

The pancreas may not sound as fascinating as the brain, or as powerful as the heart, but is indeed one of the most important organs in our body, and its functions play a fundamental role in our well-being.

Through interviews with patients suffering from pancreatic diseases, this volume aims to shed light on this often overlooked part of our body, explaining in detail how it works and offering advice on how to take good care of it and recognise any symptoms of disease, as well as raising awareness and promoting early diagnosis.
