Description

If childhood were a season, it would definitely be summer.
For a new father, fatherhood is a second childhood.
Having just lost one family, he too needs to grow up again.

The man is an illustrator who specializes in drawing the female form, and also a newly single father. That summer, he moves with his child to a new city, beginning a life without “her.” Here, he tries to build a new home.

Juggling work and raising a child leaves him frazzled and flustered. Then, “Little White Rabbit” and “Little Blue” appear in their lives.

The boy names the injured pregnant dog Little White Rabbit. The man meets the dog’s veterinarian, Little Blue—a woman with hair dyed a deep, flowing blue, elegant and mysterious.

Through Little White Rabbit, Little Blue grows from a stranger to a familiar presence in the father and son’s lives. A subtle, unspoken feeling begins to blossom between them. The approaching fireworks festival marks the end of summer, stirring different emotions in both of their hearts…

Summer is ending. But this is not an end—it is a beginning.
It turns out that beginnings and endings are this close.
