Description

This is a story about 108 heroes led by Song Jiang who gathered in Liangshan during the late Northern Song Dynasty. It tells the grand story of Liangshan heroes resisting oppression, Liangshan growing stronger and accepting the Song Dynasty's surrender, as well as fighting for the Song Dynasty until their ultimate demise after being recruited.

At the end of the Song Dynasty, social conflicts intensified and people's lives were difficult. Many heroes chose the path of resistance due to unfair treatment and oppression. Many heroes, including Song Jiang, Wu Song, Lin Chong, and others, gathered at Liangshan Port due to their common experiences and goals, forming a powerful resistance army. The heroes of Liangshan engaged in numerous fierce struggles against the corrupt court, including famous battles such as the strategic selection of birthdates and the Three Strikes at the Daming Mansion.
After the great gathering of Liangshan, Song Jiang led the heroes of Liangshan to accept surrender, and then fought in the north and south. After pacifying several factions, he was appointed as the Commander in Chief of the Wusheng Army. Despite accepting the surrender, many heroes ultimately suffered unfortunate fates due to corruption within the court and the framing of treacherous officials. Upon learning that Song Jiang had been killed, Hua Rong and Gong Sunsheng hanged themselves in front of Song Jiang's tomb in Liao'erwa outside the south gate of Chuzhou, and their bodies were buried on the left side of Song Jiang's tomb.
