Description

Shen Miao, the legitimate fifth daughter of the prestigious Shen family, was known throughout the capital in her past life as a good-for-nothing. She foolishly adored Prince Fu Xiuyi, spending six years helping him ascend the throne, even risking herself as a hostage in another country. Upon her return five years later, her daughter, Princess Wanyu, died of illness on a peace-marriage journey; her crown prince son, Fu Ming, was deposed and forced to commit suicide; her family was slaughtered on charges of "treason"; and she herself was deposed and executed.

Given a chance to relive her life, she awakens at age fourteen and embarks on a path of vengeance. In this rebirth, she dismantles the alliance between her extended family branches and Fu Xiuyi, thwarts marriage conspiracies, and joins forces with Xie Jingxing to overthrow the prince's faction... Her personality transforms from timid and dull to steady and ruthless. She can coolly persuade Pei Lang to enter government service and scheme to eliminate Princess Ming'an. When her family faces crisis, she is willing to trade her own marriage for their safety and mobilizes commoners to protect the Luo family.

While stirring the winds of court politics and laying her revenge, she meets Xie Jingxing, who appears dissolute but harbors great ambition. One is a reborn legitimate daughter seeking vengeance; the other is a powerful marquis with hidden depths. They progress from mutual suspicion and utilization to gradually offering their genuine hearts amidst the turbulent struggle for imperial power. Ultimately, Xie Jingxing pledges, "The world is yours, and you are mine," establishing a powerful partnership. Together, they navigate transnational power struggles, bringing an end to the tragic fate of her past life.
