Author

Elke Schwarzer
Spiegel bestselling author Elke Schwarzer is a qualified biologist and is out in nature as often as possible. She photographs plants and insects and gardens in her natural organic garden with compost, peat-free soil and no pesticides. There are several bee hotels, a bumblebee nesting box and aurora butterflies that lay their eggs on silver leaves to discover in her garden, as well as a number of slugs, whose appetite she spoils with an appropriate selection of plants.
