In the autumn, leaves fly, the moon shines brightly, squirrels store, fog fills the air, and robins return. “Spring and Autumn” is Giovanna Zoboli's fifth hardcover book, illustrated by Philip Giordano. The 24 pages of the book are opposite and complementary to each other, telling us about the change of seasons and the passage of time, leading us to look at the details and discover the wonders of the world.

Author

Giovanna Zoboli (Author)
She is an author and editor. In 2004, together with Paolo Canton, she founded the Topipittori publishing house, where she works as an editor and artistic director for the illustration of children's books and audiovisual works. More than thirty books have been published in Italy and abroad, and she has been awarded the “White Ravens Award”, the Andersen Prize in Italy, the “100 Most Outstanding Picture Books” and many other prizes. She focuses on improving the cultural literacy of children and young people in cultural learning activities through blogs, books, magazines, conferences, lectures, courses and other forms. She currently lives and works in Milan, Italy.

Philip Giordano (Illustrator)
Philip Giordano was born in a beautiful coastal town in Liguria, Italy, he studied illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and later at the IED (European Institute of Design). Now living in Japan, he is known as the “Western Hayao Miyazaki”. His works are full of strange characteristics, he combines traditional painting and cartoon style. His illustrations of “The Little Prince” series have been translated into many languages, including: Japan, France, USA, Korea, UK, China, Spain, Portugal, and have won many international awards. He has also illustrated columns for prestigious Italian newspapers such as “Corriere della Sera” and “Sol 24”.
