Description
Milan: "Actually, Romeo and Juliet are just characters in Shakespeare's book. They don't exist."
Alice: "It doesn't matter, what matters is that there is something in the world that can transcend time and space and travel through the human heart, and that something is ...... love."
......
In addition to talking to Alice on weekends, Milan also tried to talk to her own parents. Her mother also told her Chinese love stories - Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, and the Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden. Milan found out that love, although beautiful, sometimes comes with regrets. Dad told Milan, "The feeling of being truly in love is actually very short-lived. And a family living together in harmony and taking up a responsibility for each other is for life."
The wise Alice further guides Milan to understand the secret of marriage, and it turns out that a happy life is something that both parties have to maintain together in order to live together for a long time.
