Description
First, her husband disappeared, and then her son disappeared 10 years later.
A knife stained with blood was found in her son's room!
One night, her husband Won-mo returned home covered in blood, and his wife Jung-ha pretended not to know anything. Within a few days, the husband disappeared without a trace, and at this moment, the news of the "Beer House Murder Incident" began to be broadcast on television.
Shortly after Won-mo disappears, Jung-ha learns that his neighbor Woo-sung's wife had died, Jung-ha, who had lost her husband, and Woo-sung, who had lost his wife, became dependent on each other and lived a happy life. However, 10 years later, just like when her husband disappeared, Jungha's son Sangwon also inexplicably disappeared. Except for a blood-stained knife found in her son's room, Jungha knows nothing about her son's disappearance...
Vanished was selected in the 2022 "BIFF Busan Story Market IP Selection" event, which fully demonstrates its potential to be adapted into a movie. This story is narrated from the perspective of the hostess Jung-ha, and readers can also read this novel from the perspective of her husband Won-mo, or through the perspective of her neighbor Woo-sung, so that you can feel the diversity and unique charm of the characters. In addition, the author also recommends that readers read the diary of her husband Won-mo. The main characters in this novel may be the villains rather than the protagonists, and the villains may be the protagonists. In this era, many of us aspire to evade responsibility and become free souls. The author hopes that this book can help couples rethink their responsibilities to their families and the standards of love.
